Ramon Del Castillo
Dr. Ramon Castillo was born 1949 in Wichita, Kansas . He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology and Mexican American Studies from the University of Northern Colorado. His Masters Degrees are in Social Science and Public Administration from the University of Colorado at Denver. Dr. Del Castillo completed his doctoral studies from the Graduate School of Public Affairs at the University of Colorado at Denver. He managed and taught leadership, ethics and diversity classes in the program. He developed and implemented the “Making Connections in Mexico Program,” with ITESO University in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, designed to develop bi-national curricula in the area of the nonprofit and civil society sectors between Mexico and the United States. He serves as a Director of KUVO/Denver Educational Broadcasting, Inc.
Ramon Del Castillo, a professor of Chicano studies at Metropolitan State College of Denver and a well-known Chicano poet, recites his poem "Bato Loco" for a class in Denver, Colorado. He has a beard and wears eyeglasses.
