Ogden Theatre

Originally opened in 1919 it was a theatre that had a wide range of acts from music to dances to recitals. It was a space for those in the community to display their talents. It soon became one of the  places where Harry Houdini performed when he was in Denver. Since opening The Ogden has housed movies, plays, and now is a music venue that does over 150 concerts every year and specialty events throughout the year.

When the Ogden Theatre opened in 1919 by John Thompson one of the first performers to grace the stage was the legendary Houdini. Throughout the early 1900s Harry Houdini was traveling around performing shows. Now the Ogden theatre is a Denver historic landmark.
